Doing Business In the Age of Covid 19

Operating a spa and beauty studio during a pandemic is not an easy task. It's not easy to create a tranquil experience that's supposed to be your break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life while simultaneously juggling increased sanitation and safety precautions. A spa is supposed to be the place you can forget your worries, even for just an hour or two--an oasis of sorts--but it is going to be a more clinical experience for the time being.

For the foreseeable future, we ask for your patience and understanding as we're being required by governing agencies to implement practices that are anything but relaxing. I sincerely wish that you could come and just take in a deep breath and leave your worries at the door, but, for the time being, that breath is going to have to be taken with a mask on.

**Before you book your service, please review these guidelines to facilitate your appointment. If you do not agree with or consent to any of the following procedures, please email me before booking online.**

  • Please wear your mask to your appointment even if you are vaccinated. Until the spread of the Omicron Variant comes under control, I will be asking clients to continue to wear masks regardless of local mandate status.

  • ONLY these masks will be accepted: N95, KN95, or double-masking (with the inner layer a surgical mask).

  • NO single surgical masks or single cloth masks.

  • Since you cannot wear masks during a facial, all facial clients MUST be vaccinated and provide a screenshot of their Covid-19 vaccination certificate from

  • New customers will be sent forms online to sign, so please make sure you provide a valid email address.

  • Please don't be late. I truly hate that I have to ask you to neither be late or be early, but with the considerable cleaning I need to do after services, I can't honor the 10-minute grace period for late appointments.

  • Please reschedule if you are unwell.

  • The door to the treatment room will be left open to increase airflow for services where privacy isn't a concern.

  • Beverage stations are temporarily suspended. If you bring a drink, please take the cup or bottle with you on the way out.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. I pursued this career because I love people, I love connecting through care and beauty, and I loved providing comfort and service. To say this is strange to me is an understatement, but I am 100% committed to protecting my guests and ensuring their safety.

I will always update this page as our county moves through the phases towards reopening, and any changes to our guidelines and protocols will be posted here.

As always, you are welcome to email me with any questions or concerns.
